Toners have manybenefits and applying a small amount of toner to a soft cotton ballor pad and gently blotting and wiping your face with it will removeoil and give the the appearance of smaller pores.

Tonecan help restore skin's pH balance.

Skin is naturallyacidic, typically with a pH balance of between five and six (on ascale from 0 to 14). But that balance can be disrupted or shiftedafter cleansing from the alkaline nature of soap. Toners encouragethe return to a normal pH so that the skin does not need to producemore oil to compensate. Using a toner can help restore this balancequickly.

Tonercan help add a layer of moisture and encourage the skin's naturalprotection.

Toners can help theskin after cleansing, thus encouraging the skins normal function ofreducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminantsinto the skin.This toner alsocontain humectants, which means they help to bind moisture andrefresh the skin.

Shelf Life

Skincare is food for the skin.

The two goals of fresh and natural, mean a natural product should be fresh and a fresh product should be natural. The normal anticipated shelf life of a natural product is about 1 year from the date of purchase from the manufacturer. The actual shelf life of the product may be longer or shorter depending on how the product is altered, changed, stored, packaged and handled before sale to the final consumer. If ingredients are added to our bases and stock products, you’ll want to consider if they will shorten or change the shelf life and stability of the product.

In general, it is up to the company that is selling to the final consumer to determine the anticipated shelf life of the product. Currently the FDA does not require expiration dates on cosmetics or skincare products. Consider being conservative about expiration time frames and encouraging the consumer to use up the product while it is fresh (3-6 months) or discard it after the time frame has pasted.

It is the responsibility of the customer to conduct appropriate research and development on the use and safety of each item they order before retailing this item to the final consumer.
