Best practice is to store 100% Hyaluronic Solution in the refrigerator and use it as needed.
Shelf Life: Preserved HA solution will keep without degradation for a minimum of 6 weeks without refrigeration.
Even though this HA solution is preserved, it is not recommended that it be stored at room temperature for long periods of time unless introduced into other formulations.
The maximum safe time preserved HA solution refrigerated without spoilage will depend on upon the ability to keep the solution sterile and not containment it during accessing quantities to be used.
Microbial contamination of the solution will cause it to degrade and lose its thickness (viscosity).
If over time the solution becomes thin or loses its thickness and viscosity it should be discarded.
HA degrades more quickly when used in formulations with a pH < 4 and > 11
