Cardamon (Elettaria cardamomum) is a pungent aromatic herbaceous perennial plant.
It has a warm, green, spicy, and balsamic aroma. It blends well with the following essential oils: bay, bergamot, black pepper, caraway, cedarwood, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, fennel, ginger, grapefruit, jasmine, lemon, lemongrass, litsea cubeba, mandarin, neroli, orange, palmarosa, patchouli, petitgrain, sandalwood, vetiver, and ylang ylang.
It is used in soaps, cosmetics and body care products. It is also used in many perfumes.
